In designing this website, I wanted it to be attractive across all devices (computer, tablet, phone).
SEO Optimization: Blogging
To increase overall site traffic and demonstrate Dr. Smith’s medical expertise, I integrated a blog. I also utilized best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) site-wide.
Accessibility in Design Strategy
The brand colors for Kansas Vascular Medicine were strategically selected for tone and readability. Many of the clinic’s patients are elderly users.
To ensure the site was easy to read for all users, I utilized high contrast colors and large fonts with simple design. I selected blue as the base color because it connotes feelings of stability, according to the psychology of color theory.
